What We Believe

Chilean Cobalt Corp. is committed to the responsible as well as ethical development and production of cobalt.  The way the world produces, stores, and consumes energy is changing.  Consumer electronics, electric vehicles, and renewable energy sources, like solar and wind power, rely on energy storage systems.

The future for a cleaner, more sustainable planet depends on the rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Energy Storage is the enabler for virtually all green technologies and is the critical link to the realization of decades of socially responsible and environmental investment. These systems need critical materials like cobalt. C3 believes respect and consideration for all stakeholders is essential, not optional.

Why Cobalt?

Cobalt is one of the critical materials used in battery cathodes for rechargeable-energy storage systems. As adoption rates of electric vehicles increase and these technologies become increasingly main-stream, the extraction and processing of these materials will become the choke point. The world is embracing the EV revolution, which is in turn fueling a boom for cobalt.

Our Projects

We are developing premier cobalt projects in Northern Chile's Atacama region. In aggregate, our land holdings exceed 2,000 hectares. The La Cobaltera project is 700 km north of Santiago and 25 km south of the Port of Huasco. The Carrizal Alto project is 100 km north of La Cobaltera. Both sites are strategically located near roads, electricity, water, and ports. Our company is fully funded for a full exploratory drilling program and the operating team is headed by the former Chilean Undersecretary of Mining, Ignacio Moreno.
